Independence Day is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm all over the country and with respect to this many cultural programmes are being organized to mark the occasion.
The occasion of Independence Day is a moment of pride and glory for the country. With respect to this, various schools in the city organized various programmes paying a tribute to our great freedom fighters.
No academic work was done on Independence Day, but all the students and staff members were present in their respective educational institutions, to celebrate the day.
The students were dressed in beautiful attires and gave dance performances on various patriotic songs. The programme was followed by a parade wherein the march past was lead by the house captains.
A sort of social gathering was arranged in the different educational institutions, and sweets were distributed to the students on the occasion. Flag hoisting ceremony took place within their respective premises.
As the flag is hoisted by the head of the institution, students sang national anthem and pay respect to their flag and to uphold the sovereignty of the country.

INDEPENDENCE DAY AT SHARDA VIDYA MANDIR SCHOOL:
INDEPENDENCE DAY AT ANKUR HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL:
Independence Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Ankur Higher Secondary school. The programme commenced with the flag Hoisting ceremony by the Principal of the school, Vishakha Sharma followed by National Anthem sung by the students.
Thereafter, March past was performed by the students lead by the head boy of the school Arjun Singh. The students also performed Mass PT exercises and the programme concluded with the distribution of sweets to the students.
INDEPENDENCE DAY AT SHREE BHAVANS BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL:
Shree Bhavans Bharti Public School celebrated the independence in a very simple manner. The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the vice principal of the school Madhubala Chouhan. The teacher’s staff and students were present on the occasion.
National anthem was sung by the students and the teacher’s staff accompanied them. The vice principal of the school Madhubala Chouhan gave a short speech wherein she said that,” youth are the future of the country and they play an important role in the development of the country and upliftment of the society.”
INDEPENDENCE DAY AT SHARDA VIDYA MANDIR SCHOOL:
The 64th Independence Day was celebrated at Sharda Vidya Mandir with enthusiasm and national fervor.
The Programme began with the hoisting of our Tricolor by the Directors Savithri Natrajan, Vinay Agrawal and Principal Mrs. Shefali Gautam.
Cultural programmes flavored with patriotism charged the entire atmosphere. Speaking on the occasion Director Natarajan urged the students to safeguard the country against the cancer called “corruption”.
The programme came to an end with distribution of sweets among the children. Beautiful dance performance was given by the student which was praised by everyone.

The Independence Day at Model Higher secondary school was celebrated with many cultural programmes. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the principal of the school ML Dubey and Vice Principal SK Reniwal followed by the National Anthem. The students performed March past under the leadership of Rose Mary, Nirajkant Sharma and RD Verma thereby leading the navy, army and air force wings.
Dance performances were given by the students on different patriotic songs.
INDEPENDENCE DAY AT BAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL:
The principal of the school, Rashmi Malik hoisted the tri color at the school premises and the teacher’s staff and the students sang the national Anthem.
Addressing the students Rashmi Malik said that,” the future of the country depends upon the young generation and the present generation must be sensible enough to understand their responsibilities towards their country.”
The students gave dance performance which was praised by everyone. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets amongst the students.
